Picnic in the Park isn’t just about putting on events — it’s about people. As a not-for-profit community interest company, we’re here to bring neighbours, families, friends, and local businesses together to share good times, laughter, and a real sense of belonging. Whether it’s an open-air cinema, a seasonal market, or a good old-fashioned street party, we believe in creating welcoming spaces where everyone feels valued and part of something special.
It’s those little moments — chatting over a coffee, watching the kids run about, or dancing to live music — that turn a gathering into a community, and a day out into a memory. Every penny we make gets reinvested back into the community, helping us to keep creating simple, joyful experiences that lift spirits, bring people closer, and celebrate the brilliant places we call home.
Our Events
We’re all about bringing people together through fun, feel-good outdoor events. From chilled afternoons in the park to street parties and film nights under the stars — we love creating moments for everyone to enjoy.
We work hand-in-hand with local councils, businesses, and community groups to make sure every event is welcoming, accessible, and good for the planet. And because we’re a not-for-profit, everything we make gets put straight back into the community to help make even more great things happen.
